Toogood Pond Park

Location: City of Markham, Unionville, Ontario, Canada (near the shops and restaurants of historic Main Street Unionville)

Toogood Pond is a 33-hectare park that has many points of interest including a partially naturalized pond and a marsh. The pond is home to many Canada Geese, ducks, fish, and other wildlife. Surrounding the pond are many beautiful walkways, park benches and picnic tables. There is a man-made dam at the south-east end that includes a waterfall. South West Lookout Point, Toogood Pond, Toogood Pond Park

This wooden lookout point is on the southwest part of Toogood Pond. The lookout jets out in the water and gives you beautiful views of the entire Toogood Pond. You will be able to see the entire pond including the pedestrian walking/dam at the far end, the main lookout point across the way, and also the marshlands at the southwest side of the pond. You will also be able to see ducks and geeses nearby.
